Language instructors have five or more years of corporate language training and/or private language tutoring experience. They hold a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree. Instructors are either native or near-native speakers of the target language. Throughout each course, instructors are evaluated by Akorbi staff and by the clients themselves.

Cultural trainers have lived for at least five years in the country to which the expatriate family is moving. Like language trainers, cultural trainers have five or more years of corporate and/or private teaching experience. For cultural training with a business focus, trainers have worked in the country and industry for which the client seeks direction.
