| The Process |
| I. All interpreters must first meet the following requirements to be considered: |
a. Years of experience in a specific language pair
b. In the case of court interpretations-court certified |
| II. Interpreter's credentials checked |
c. Confirmation of the credentials and certifications of the interpreter
d. Check references. Akorbi only accepts interpreters who receive reviews classified as "excellent" or "would use again"
e. Obtain an affidavit of criminal history |
| Akorbi always seeks out certified interpreters. Experience has taught us, however, that certification does not necessarily equate with quality. Therefore, we place a high level of importance on the impeccable record of performance demonstrated by each interpreter, as well as his or her references. |
| III. Evaluation of procedures at every level |
| This ensures that we constantly improve and that challenges are noted that might be beneficial for clients to understand in the future. Deploying the best-fit interpreter and requesting feedback from both parties upon completion of the interpretation assignment demonstrate that Akorbi surpasses expectations in performance and customer satisfaction. |
