Certified Translation Services
All translators and interpreters working for Akorbi must be certified or accredited by a respected organization, including but not limited to the American Translators Association, state level certifications, federal certifications, or reputable University degrees or certificates in translation or other related fields. Additionally, our technical and legal team consists of highly qualified bilingual translators with an understanding of the cultures and conventions of both languages. Every translation is reviewed by an editor and proofreader before Akorbi delivers the finished document.
Akorbi's certified translations are appropriate for use in a court of law, with overseas embassies and consulates, and for other legal matters.
In the United States, a certified translation consists of the following three parts:
- The source (original) text
- The target-language (translated) text
- A statement signed by the translator or translation company representative, with his or her signature notarized by a Notary Public, attesting that the translator or translation company representative believes the target-language text to be an accurate and complete translation of the source-language text.
These are some examples of the most commonly certified documents:
- Affidavits
- Apostil (apostille) services
- Corporate documents for overseas use
- General business documentation
- Judgments
- Patents
- Pharmaceutical documents
- Powers of attorney
- State filings for insurance companies
We invite you to contact Akorbi to help you fulfill all your certified translation needs. |
