Interpreter Selection Process

Our efficient interpreters form the backbone of Akorbi Language Consulting. Through the delivery of our interpreters’ skills we are able to consistently meet even the most demanding language interpretation needs of our clients. By working around the clock with approximately 1,000 highly experienced and trained interpreters around the world, Akorbi is able to stand out above its competitors time and time again. Prior to joining Akorbi, each of our interpreters undergoes a rigorous filtering process in which their abilities are thoroughly analyzed, their skills are tested and their interpretation experience is judged.

We are completely thorough in our approach at Akorbi Language Consulting by hiring interpreters who are not only experienced but also located in their native regions. As a result, our interpreters are able to interpret their language perfectly. Our experienced interpreters work efficiently under effective multilingual project managers who are responsible for ensuring that each and every deadline is met with accurate interpretation precision.

As our language interpreters are from a variety of different educational backgrounds, they are competent in handling both small and large interpretation projects in fields and industries such as programming, software, optics, telecommunication, legal and medical; to name just a few.

We utilize only the most precise and exacting interpreter selection process. Our team of in-house interpreters is comprised of all native speakers and consists of interpreters and editors who have a minimum of a four-year university degree within translation or at least a closely related field. We also ensure that our translators and interpreters come from a background of various technical specializations, in addition to their having proven interpretation experience. Each of the interpreters and editors at Akorbi is required to be skilled in a variety of technologies and computer tools so that we are able to deliver finished products in any format.

We also conduct a thorough selection process for each client, and ensure each client has a designated account manager who assumes responsibility for the quality of every completed project while remaining in close communication throughout the entire process. Only editing and translation/interpretation teams that are completely familiar with the subject matter will be assigned in order to maximize consistency and accuracy.
