Translators for Other Languages
As business becomes increasingly globalized, we have all become more and more aware
that our world hosts a myriad of languages and cultures that must be expressed in
a clear and open manner. This is a crucial need that we are fully cognizant of at
Akorbi, and is why we select only translators with the highest credentials. One
of the elements that sets Akorbi apart from other translation and interpretation
companies is our linguists’ concentration on just a single language pair in order
to ensure the highest degree of cultural accuracy.
We require all of our multilingual translators and editors to be accredited or certified
by a highly respected translators association, such as the American Translators
Association, National Association of Judiciary Interpreters and Translators, etc.
Our translators and editors may also have earned a degree in translation, or a closely
related field, from a respected university program.
All of our translators have at least an average of ten years’ translation experience
within a specific language pair. Our editors have an average of fifteen years of
translation experience. It is because we take the time to ensure that the editors
and translators selected for each project share similar specialization and experience
prior to the assignment of any documentation, that we are able to offer our customers
the highest degree of accuracy possible.
At Akorbi we understand that it is not only important for our translators to be
experienced in the specific local language and dialect, but also for them to have
a specialization related to the client’s specific industry or field. That is why
we require both our editors and our translators to have a minimum of five years
of translation experience within a client’s industry or a closely related field.
Our solid vendor management system and strict employee recruitment process compounds
our commitment to quality and excellence. Our proprietary system grades interpreters
and translators on their performance, and only those with an immaculate performance
record are reassigned to projects. Some of our most requested languages for translation
services include Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, German,
French and Portuguese. In fact, our translators offer support for more than 170
languages.
