One of the advantages of working with Akorbi is that we are completely technology-oriented. We have invested heavily in technology to optimize processes, bring cost-efficiencies to our customers and decrease the time to market, while also standardizing project management practices.

Our belief in technology is so strong that we have significantly invested in state-of-the-art CAT tools and have even developed our own Proprietary Project Management System along with CMS compliance, HIPAA and disaster recovery.

Our servers are active production servers housed at a data center in Dallas. The center runs 3 redundant ISP and power grids, and performs differential backups of its servers every night and full backups over weekends. Backup copies are encrypted and moved off-site and kept for a year, or until the client makes specific requests. The main FTP and translation memory server is backed up by 2 different backup applications for redundancy. In the event of a disaster at the data center, Akorbi’s headquarters have backup servers ready from which the previous night’s backups can be restored and teams can continue to work. Our transaction logs are backed up every 6 hours and our database goes through a full backup every night.

Our proprietary project management system and customer portal allows our customers to stay completely updated on the progress of their project from start to finish.
